What problems is Justin Azoff's mogilefs Python module known to have?

If you search the mailing list you'll find a few. Largely poor error handling 
(retries sub-requests, when it should retry the request from the top). No 
updates for a long time, missing features, etc.

I need a python client now so i searched for alternative implementation(s). I 
found this [1]. Don't know if it even works - just wanted to leave a link here 
(i also added it to wiki clients page).
