Problem with VMWARE WORKSTATION 8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create Volume Standard or with 4k segment
2. Mount the volume 
3. Create new virtual machine to this volume, this work
4. Try to open the Virtual machine

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
You receive a message 'parametres in incorrect'

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7 enterprise ed. (32 bits)
VMware Workstation 8

Please provide any additional information below.
I have tested to create e virtual machine on my local disk and copied it to the 
eduplication volume but this not work.
