The capistrano deploy setup is horribly out-dated and very tumblr specific... I wouldn't mind getting rid of it. My suggestion is to have the officially supported version of deployment be the docker container.

We've run collins in a container for a few months before, though not in fully-productionized datacenters. How has others experiences with running it as a container been?

We run all of our collins instances in containers; no issues.
