btsync-gui: Add Ubuntu sync menu support

Ubuntu's Unity top bar has a dedicated sync menu (cloud icon) intended for services like this. Could integration support for this be added?

This is very interesting idea! It may require a special processing for Ubuntu but it's feasible. The only problem is that I was not able to find any developer information about how to integrate into the menu. Do you have any idea, where I can fond something?

Sorry, no, I can't find sync menu API instructions either.

That's exactly the problem I also had yesterday. In any case I will keep this open, because the idea is really interesting and as soon as I know how to implement it, I will give it a try.
