Right now, if I want to look for an icon, I can search on the page or filter. Searching on the page is problematic because I do not always guess what you might name things. Filtering allows for a slighly broader set of results even though it has the same issues. How? Because of tags and groups.
If I take 0 circle fill, I see these:
Tags: number, numeral
Category: Shapes
If I go for Airplane:
Tags: flight, flying, plane, air, airport, aircraft
Category: Transportation
GREAT! The problem is, what I want 99.999% of the time is NOT to see all the Brands. It is great to have them, but I do not need the logo for Andoid, AMD, Discord, etc. unless I am doing something related to those Brands. I should not be using their trademarks as menu items, random art, etc. Thus, it would be very useful for you to have an advanced search or a way to use -filter to remove things. Then, a filter like -brand -transpo would get me a small but broad range of results.
Another option would be a more advanced search page where the tags and categoies are check boxes on the side. Then a person can uncheck all and then recheck just the few they need. For speed, I would not do instant changes. Wait for an apply so the person does not need to wait every time they check/uncheck one thing. They could uncheck all, recheck the 2 or three things they want, and finally apply to get the results.
