  • make the bubble cluster widget consistent with the overall design (color palette and styles)
  • bubbles could also visualize subjects, years or degrees

@jchartrand do you have an estimate?

Need specifics on this: "make the bubble cluster widget consistent with the overall design (color palette and styles)"

Estimate to add three other visualizations (although need to know how to toggle between them (how to say that the bubble should show subjects, years, degrees, or institutions), or whether to always show four separate bubbles, one for each type (subject years degrees institutions):

1 day.

By consistent with the overall design I mean use the same colors (the blue and gray codes I send for all the widgets) and same typeface used in menus, labels, line values (for frames), alignment of all elements, avoid rounded corners, avoid drop shadows, etc. We can go detail by detail through all the adjustments if you take the original design screens as reference, just following what you see and compare to the current look of the prototype on line.

We need only one type of bubble visualization, able to show all the available documents ordered under any category (subject, years, degrees, institutions) or combining categories when is possible (e.g. subject "biology", from 2000-2020, in U of A). We can discuss this in the meeting too.
