During the Ubiquity assessment for a series A funding, VCs will evaluate a potential of our vision and strategy.
It is important to clearly communicate our vision and strategy on the Ubiquity website.

It is stated in the update https://dao.ubq.fi/q4-2023

Strategic Focus on Ubiquity Dollar
Our Ubiquity Dollar remains a central pillar of our operations and strategic vision. It's vital to emphasize that all our efforts, including the development and promotion of the DevPool system (and the UbiquiBot) are fundamentally geared towards enhancing the utility and adoption of our Dollar. The GitHub bot is more than just an operational tool; it's a gateway to popularizing our Dollar, and making it an integral part of the open source ecosystem.

It would be good to update main pages of the Ubiquity website with

1. Catchy sentence representing our vision

It is known that money is the circulatory system, blood of the economy.
We can present Ubiquity Dollar as the circulatory system of the Open Source ecosystem.

We can brainstorm around narratives for the Ubiquity Dollar

  • Circulatory system of Open Source economies
  • Dollar for Open Source ecosystem
  • Currency of Open Source economies
  • Blood of Open Source economies
  • Rewarding Open Source
  • Accelerate Open Source development
  • Be a sustainable ecosystem
  • TBD

2. Visualisation of our vision :)

It can be a scheme where Ubiquity Dollar powers all the lifecycle aspects of the Open Source ecosystem:

  • management of Open Source development projects (UbiquiBot as a repository manager)
  • rewards for contribution to Open Source projects (UbiquiBot as a reward platform)
  • recruiting of contributors to Open Source projects (DevPool)
  • management of DAOs as Open Source organizations
  • funding and donations for Open Source projects
  • rewards to efficient Open Source projects
  • TBD

The list of subtasks

Main page

  • Short description of each product (catchy sentence, unique features, value for target audience)
  • Full text of the main page text
  • Product map research#135

Visualization of the DAO OS (DAO OS Kernel, DAO OS Plugins, DevPool) and the Ubiquity Bank (Cards, Payments) and Ubiquity Dollar is in the center of everything)

This is a good idea to brush up our website but we should probably start drafting more ideas here for the dollar and the DevPool.

Regarding branding/marketing I was still thinking on referring to it as the world's first "DAO Operating System" DAO OS(?) instead of the DevPool.

Or "DAO Task OS"

@pavlovcik some other tools state that they provide "operating system for DAOs"
One of them is https://blog.aragon.org/aragon-osx-the-unix-of-ethereum/

Aragon OSx: The Unix of Ethereum. How a simple core plus plugins come together to create a revolutionary new operating system for DAOs

Aragon OSx

Interesting. We are also taking the Unix approach and making a kernel with plugins (https://github.com/ubiquity/ubiquibot-kernel)

They are doing on-chain stuff, basically token swaps and voting. We're focusing more on managing contributors of DAOs (mostly off-chain stuff)

One observation is that you linked the timeline task here. I would actually make a task list inside of this specification and then fund each task separately.

So one checkbox list item would be to compile the timeline/roadmap contents. That way you can directly associate the deliverable to that task.

This seems useful @sergfeldman why don't you look into delivering this?

I am doing this task in parallel with other tasks on cards, research (ChainGPT) and pitch deck (since this week).

To compile effective content for a website, we need to review websites of similar solutions available on the market.
A high-level review of hundreds of “AI startups” and determining the top list of similar solutions took about 2 weeks.
