Ability to pass on a reference for KFS

I would really love to be able to send our Order Number, and have it appear in KFS if possible as the ‘Reference’. Just a simple string such as: ORD15982 would be great. Can I include that in the JSON in a way that would have it saved with the transaction, and allow our financial people to reconcile the orders to the payments?
