A mod on discord said the following about the gallery:
The gallery is only actually meant to be used as examples. For any actual use I don’t recommend using any prebuilt images from anywhere.
As such, I think it makes sense to clean up some of the older examples on there and keep a more minimal and up to date approach. I propose something along the following:
Windows:
Keep 11 for sure. 10 is going EoL in a year, so we can include it for now, but should stop advertising it after IMO. 7 and XP are hard ones as they don't have aarch64 versions, maybe keep XP depending on how well it is emulated for those legacy cases.
Linux
Examples of the base distros with aarch64 support should be showcased. The following
Arch
Debian
Fedora
openSUSE
Alpine
Void(?)
Notable forks of these can be included too, but should have a threshold of relevance IMO. For example:
Ubuntu
Kali
Alma or RockyOS (RHEL-likes)
Unix Misc
FreeBSD
Older MacOS versions?
Would love some opinions and discussion on this. I don't think having 5 different versions of Debian is productive or necessarily good to have for example in the sample gallery.
