Timeline

• April 16 - May 1: project applications opened
  • projects are invited to submit their proposals to https://github.com/cncf/mentoring/blob/master/communitybridge/2020/q2/project_ideas.md
• May 4: selected projects/slots are announced by CNCF;
• May 5 - May 18: mentees applications opened, projects are selecting mentees;
• May 20 - mentees are selected by the mentors, coding starts;
• June 22 - June 28: 1st evaluation;
  • Mentors verify the quality of the completed tasks;
  • First 50% of the stipend is being paid to the mentee if this stage is passed;
• July 27 - 2nd (final) evaluation checkpoint;
  • Coding ends;
  • The other 50% of the stipend is being paid to the mentees;
• August 3: results announced!
