When restoring a VM from Backup > Restore there is a toggle option to generate a new MAC address. After having to restore a few VMs I've noticed that even though this option is toggled off, a new MAC address is generated and applied to the restored VM.

Go to Backup
Click on the Restore tab
Next to a backup click the restore button
Select a backup from the drop down menu
Click OK (don't toggle the "Generate new MAC addresses" option)
