Summary

I’m wondering, “Can I create my own mainnet by forking the 'thor' repository?”

I read the documentation about creating a Custom Network, but I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same as the VeChain mainnet...

I’ve already tried creating my own mainnet for my dApp using another blockchain’s documentation, but it didn’t have the same functionality as the mainnet...

Motivation

I just want to make platform to exchange their time!

We recommend using the custom network feature for private network purposes. The custom network functions the same as the current VeChainThor mainnet.

We have an example of a private network inside our e2e test suite. You can see it here:

Yes, that is an example. We use it for end-to-end testing
