Is there a way to import Data Policy acceptance and Communication Preferences dates? #253

If acceptance of terms and conditions/data policy or communication preferences have been captured on another platform (eg. Mailchimp or JustGiving) is there a way to import these dates along with the contact record?

This plugin seems to record acceptance using a new activity type – ‘Data Policy Acceptance’. So these activity records need to be imported as an additional import after the contacts.
Is this the correct approach to take for importing contacts and retaining GDPR information sourced on other platforms?
