I am looking to use the RxJava scala bindings. Is it possible to add this support. Perhaps for other RxJava languages also.

Still looking for this? Would need to be a separate mod as you cannot mix the Rx language jars afaik.

Not sure if it would be worthwhile assuming you can use Scala futures with the native Vert.x Scala api

It would be nice to have based on the effort.

I think than vertx 3 will use rx for handle async calls although I'm stuck with the version 2 now and will be great use RX over futures, RX provides better tools and it's more flexible, so my vote for scala support :D
