Project seems unmaintained

gifsockets is an awesome project. The overall design of the project is flawless and easy to understand. It is also backwards compatible to IE6 which solves a lot of real world issues.

But we have one problem: The project seems dead and unmaintained.

Anyone steps up to merge solve the open issues?

I can't currently take a peek at the current list of issues, but I'd be down to pitch in if this project is just sitting unmaintained. I've been wanting to get involved in an open source project lately, and gifsockets is just crazy enough to be the one. I'll check out the code sometime this weekend and see if I can get any outstanding issues resolved.
