CI times take quite an amount of time

I've noticed that the times take quite a while, even though we have a large codebase the cold start for simple files is really giant, we're looking for some "good practices" or some large codebases examples.
The CI also has the C8 reporter, I'll post more details about the project but I'm also curious if anyone ran into this problem before or if its something known
