How can we make more layout columns in the create/edit form? When there are many fields then it is very annoying to have them all in one vertical column

use CSS

    #jtable-create-form,
    #jtable-edit-form {
        padding-top: 20px;
        display: block;
        width: 800px;
        min-height: 300px;
        -moz-column-gap: 30px;
        -webkit-column-gap: 30px;
        column-gap: 30px;
        -moz-column-count: 2;
        -webkit-column-count: 2;
        column-count: 2;
    }

the css fixes part of it, it is still a problem if the resulting form is too wide or long (since the popup is not responsive)
I've created a fork using HTML5 dialogs which fixes that too (and the CSS can be used too of course)
