Currently, whenever the config is applied, the snmpd server is restarted. This causes monitoring software like Solarwinds Orion to report a reboot.
According to this ticket, modules should implement reload on their own.
SNMPD supports a config reload by sending the HUP signal like so: ExecReload=/bin/kill -HUP $MAINPID
Wouldn't it be nice to implement that by default instead of forcing users to scour the internet for a fix like:
