There are a bunch of basic features in the default theme that are missing from the blog theme. It would be great if they could be brought across. In particular, I'm interested in:
It can't just be copied and pasted since they're different theme with different UI for different purpose. I agreed Homepage is a common feature. The big challenge why it hasn't been implemented is I'm lack of UI design experience.
I am voting on this issue as well. In addition, one feature I like from theme-default that's missing in theme-blog is the Markdown containers extension supported by vuepress-plugin-container. The default theme provided some basic styling css for the containers.

What problem does this feature solve?
