At launch of wai/aria/apg on May 19, 2022, we are extracting information about current editors, past editors, and acknowledgements from the old aria-practices.html respec doc. This doc pulled some information from aria-common.
Where do we want to maintain such information?
Should the APG rely on an external source for some of the information?
To what extent should we maintain acknowledgements about major contributions to past versions?
What information should be included in every page footer?
Some of the guiding principles the TF has used in the past:
Author names are not included in source comments because all source is a work of the entire TF, there are often multiple authors over time, and it is difficult to ensure such information is accurate.
Similarly, the TF strives to convey that the APG is developed with the broader accessibility community.
