Material on the WebPlatform.org site is meant for public use. Content original to the site is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC-BY 3.0). That means you are free to share and remix, with attribution to the source. Some material on the site comes from other sources that have made it available under a share-alike license such as CC-BY-SA. In that case, WebPlatform.org maintains the share-alike term, meaning that you may use the material under the same terms: "If you alter, transform, or build upon this work, you may distribute the resulting work only under the same or similar license to this one." That content is identified by notes at the bottom of the page. The page on External Attribution describes in greater detail Site practices relating to externally attributed material.
When you register to edit at WebPlatform.org, you agree to the Web Platform Documentation Site Contributor Agreement, agreeing to post only material you own or have rights to post and share. Material you contribute will be licensed CC-BY for others to use and remix.
