Doesn't sync after article deletion & restoration

I deleted an article & then restored it. It didn't sync any highlights from the article now.
Why is that?

I think the plugin only looks for new hypothesis notes or additions to existing ones. If you delete a file and resync, it won't appear. (Unless you edit each of the highlights and notes you made).

@weichenw, would it be possible to add the ability to check for modifications, deletions etc and then update appropriately?

@abhigenie92 if you want to force a refresh, then you can reset sync and re-sync all your annotations
