The package django-bootstrap-breadcrumbs2 (which is itself a fork of django-bootstrap-breadcrumbs) doesn't seem to be maintained anyway and isn't even technically compatible with bootstrap 5.

  • Check if there is an alternative
  • or just write a couple of helper functions (breadcrumbs are no rocket sciense)
  • or remove them altogether if it makes sense
