Hi,

I got here while updating IPFS Kubo in Guix. There are to package gx-go and
gx which are depend on some dated Golang modules and require go-1.16 to
compile.

Is this project still intends to be developed or it's in deprecation mode?

I'm not aware of any projects actively using gx. Kubo/Boxo entirely rely on go modules at this point.

This project is abandoned and not in use by IPFS/Kubo any longer, see
<whyrusleeping/gx#247>.

* gnu/packages/ipfs.scm (gx, go-github-com-whyrusleeping-gx-util):
Delete variables.
