How to implement a page cache

When switching between tabs, the displayed content is re-created. How can this be avoided. Behavior is needed when switching between tabs does not create a new control, but displays an already created one. There is a similar behavior in the notepad example, but there it is done artificially, the text previously entered by the user is loaded.
