Probe malfunction

I'm using UGS Platform and an Arduino loaded with GRBL v1.1h to control a recently constructed home built CNC router. I'm only using the Z probe in the probe module.

When I initiate the probe, the spindle moves downwards slowly for about 1mm. Then, long before it reaches the touch plate, the spindle shoots upwards approximately 25mm, at maximum speed, before reversing and returning near to where it started, also at maximum speed (set at 2000mm/min).

My probe settings are:

The probe module worked as expected initially, but I did have other problems which have now been fully resolved. I suspect that I have corrupted the probe module or its settings in resolving those other issues.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling UGS Platform and have also deleted the cache folder (several times). I've also tried rebooting my computer but whatever I try, the probe module always starts with my previous settings. UGS is obviously storing data somewhere that I'm not aware of.

How do I get a completely clean version of the probe module?
