UGS won't connect to machine.

Hello, I am struggling to connect UGS with my Mill Right Mega V router. The only thing that has changed from when I could get the two to connect is that I upgraded Windows 10 to Windows 11. I've ensured a stable connection with working drivers. I have a COM5 connection with a 115200 baud rate set, but when I try to connect to my machine, UGS just continuously tried connecting without ever making the connection. Does anyone have any shot in the dark suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Can you attach a log file from:
C:/Users/[your username>]/AppData/Roaming/ugsplatform/var/log/messages.log

In the millright-version of UGS, can you post the output from the console after you connect. I am also interested in the output from the $I command in the console.

Your screenshot is missing the first row which would have shown the welcome string sent from the controller. That row could have explained why it didn't work with UGS version 2.0.14.

Your screenshot did however show why it didn't properly connect with version 2.0.15. MillRight got creative when creating the version string which is pretty different from the standard GRBL version string and couldn't be properly interpreted by UGS.

I have created a fix for it which is available in the latest nightly build here:

If you have the time I'd appreciate if you could give it a test run as I can't reproduce the problem myself.

My mistake. At least I still proved helpful. Lol. Would you like me to get a screenshot of the welcome string so we can figure out why it didn't work with UGS 2.0.14? Or since it isn't reproducible, was it simply a me problem?
