I've enabled linux development environment on my Chromebook and downloaded UGS Platform (linux-ugs-platform-app-2.0.14.tar.gz, with embedded Java) from Github website, extracted and copied to the Chromebook's Linux files.
Located the ugsplatform file (/bin) and used the Terminal to make the file executable using chmod +x. Ran the file ugsplatform but I get an error:
Cannot find Java. Please use --jdkhome switch. I'm now confused because I thought ugsplatform has embedded Java. I'm a newbie with linux and java, so please be gentle in you assistance. Please help...
