The GRBL version that you are running is 0.9j and should work with the "CNC shield v3". UGS 2.0.20 should also work fine with that GRBL version. However, in your config.h you have set
Is there any specific reason you changed the baud rate? I think that it is best to leave it to the default |

I thought that the video that showed a nicely made machine making a proper homing cycle was yours... In the other video you showed when you were jogging into the end stops. Which you basically never should do, that will result in an alarm. I now understand that you have never performed a homing procedure. This is why I need you to describe what you are doing, what you expected and what is actually happening. Activate homing cycle $22=1 and press the homing button (the one with the house button) |

Hello
I am a carpenter who built my own small cnc machine
I have no knowledge of programming
For my device, I used Arduino CH340G and cnc shield v3, the drivers are tb6600 type.
The version of ugs software that I use is 2.020 and I have 10.0.2 version installed. Windows is also 10 pro.
I encounter this message when connecting ugs software.
*** Connecting to jserialcomm://COM3:115200
b( 1*!9!O
And that the microswitches do not work in the z axis either
I did not specify for the home device
Because I don't know the ugs settings
I'm sure it's not a hardware problem because I checked all the paths several times
It is interesting that I tested the same parts with a programmer's computer and the device worked without any problems
please guide me.
This is the grbl version that I uploaded to Arduino
grbl.zip
