Feature request - option to save audio

Hi there, wonderful app you've made!

Would you consider making it an option to keep the audio recordings for each recognition event to be playable in the logged recognitions list?

It could be quite nice for reviewing ones results later.

will think about it, but it might be a lot of data. Each recognition would be 260kB.
We have 3s intervals but run detection every 0.8s, so 1 bird sound might easily create 1 MB.

maybe it'd be worth compressing with vorbis & being able to pick the save location (great if the phone has external sd)

sounds like a feature could be "brid collection/spotting"

this could be also expanded as a social feature:

• share a card with bird image, when and where
• see where people spot which birds
• who's in your neighborhood is also a bird spotter
