Project Description

Book piracy has widened the gap between authors and readers, as well as slowed the reading and writing culture. Authors and consumers must be guaranteed that their works are real and protected in order to revitalize this culture. We are also integrating fantastic features like:

• Read to earn Model
• Minting and selling book covers as NFT
• Rewards, and all other royalties.
• Reselling which remits a certain percentage to the original author address

We also did not limit our DAPP to native book owners; Students in schools can use it to upload past exam questions, chefs can upload book recipes, and anybody can publish articles. We want to immortalize information, and we are using blockchain to do so.

Milestone 1 (Oct/Mid Nov)

• Summary: User Research, Landing page implementation ,Technical Documentation and Community Creation
• Team: Mayowa (Ui design), Khadijah (Frontend Development and Technical Documentation) Maureen (Frontend Development)

• Duration: 4 weeks

1.	UI/Ux Design	Design a landing page in Figma firstly, then work on workflow and prototypes.
2.	Frontend Implementation	The landing page design will be implemented
3.	Account Connection/ Encryption	Wallet Connection and symmetric encryption of books.
4.	Whitepaper Design/Documentation	The publishing of our Whitepaper and proper documentation
5.	Twitter, Discord etc	Social media accounts would be created, and regular content posting would commence.
6	NFT Smart contract	Smart contract Implementation for the book covers that would be minted as NFTs

• Summary: Authors and Readers dashboard implementation and Smart contract Implementation. Implementation of Lit Protocol for book encryption
