Project Description

Otaku - is the decentralized Webtoon meets Patreon .
Currently manga artists earn only 8-10% of the sales(https://medium.com/@jasonmuell/ink-sweat-and-tears-how-much-does-a-manga-artist-earn-c98e1d311e3e), often lose IP rights to their work, have to use Patreon + social media +Opensea to connect to fans.

The Otaku dapp will allow anime artists to create mangas/webtoons while maintaining the IP rights and to earn money directly from their fans through tokens, NFTs, merch sales, ad revenue etc.
For the artists that don't have yet a manga to present, they will be able to create and showcase their portfolio so that they can already attract a following.
