Earlier this week I released PlasmaPy v2024.10.0, which drops the Numba dependence and works on Python 3.13. (Took me a bit longer than intended since I got to enjoy having COVID for the first time!) But, this issue should be ready to go!
Python 3.13.0 is due to be released on 2024 Oct 7, we should add Python 3.13 to the test suite later this month.
This issue should wait until after PlasmaPy's next release (hopefully October 15β18, see PlasmaPy/PlasmaPy#2786), which will drop its dependence on Numba (see PlasmaPy/PlasmaPy#2841). πππππͺ©ππ₯¦
