Hi,

Is it possible to do or send something that wipes the log file?

I’d like to be able to only have a single instance of the event logged to a file, rather than a running history ?

I created a PR which can do this, although it writes and then clears (which is the way the current log rotation works). So you could try my version using

sudo npm install https://github.com/michaelblight/node-red-contrib-flogger
