Steps to reproduce the bug
Steps to Reproduce the Issue:
1. Open the SmartTube app.
2. Play any video (the specific video does not matter).
3. Experience the loading animation getting stuck, followed by the error message: “Do not close the player, applying fix…”.
Actual behavior
Dear SmartTube Team,
First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the incredible work you have put into SmartTube. It has truly become the only app I spend hours on using my Android Box, and I cannot thank you enough for this masterpiece.
Unfortunately, a significant issue has recently turned my experience into a major source of frustration. I keep encountering an endless loop with the message:
“Do not close the player, applying fix…”
This issue persists even after repeated uninstalls and reinstallations of the latest stable version. At times, the error message is accompanied by long and incomprehensible error texts, and the problem remains unresolved.
I have tried different network engines, but it has had no effect. This issue never, or very rarely, occurred in older versions of SmartTube. I kindly ask that you address this persistent problem in the upcoming stable release.
