No problem at all! I understand that lab's code isn't the easiest one to follow, but once you get used to the way things were implemented you see it's quite straightforward with a lot of things to improve :D. I'll do my best to get a PR ready and let you review it so you can get a feeling on what's required for enabling such feature.
