Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

I fired up zed, and the window appeared. However, it has a solid black "border" arroud the window, that I think may be supposed to be transparent. Not sure what is going wrong.

Since you are on KDE / X11, have you disabled compositing? I.e. unchecked the "enable compositor on startup" setting shown here https://discuss.kde.org/t/compositor-settings-confusion/11019 That would explain why the transparency in zed's window decorations doesn't work.

These are my settings - I have not altered them:

OK, so enabling it has fixed the border issue. That's great. Thanks.
