Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

In vim with incsearch enabled, when pressing esc after typing in the search box, the cursor returns to its original position.
In Zed, the cursor stays in the last match.

Environment

Zed: v0.159.10 (Zed)
OS: macOS 15.1.0
Memory: 32 GiB
Architecture: aarch64
