Alternative Menubar Icon

I'd love for this app to have other menubar icons! Currently, it is the Command key's symbol, which makes sense in a most cases but doesn't if the user doesn't use the command key in their keybindings. I think something like a cowboy hat as the menubar icon might work better (and maybe show more character too!).

I was coming here to make the same request. Right now I have six menu bar icons that use ⌘ as the icon. A cowboy hat would be a better choice methinks.

Very minor issue, but I use a 1080p external monitor and the current menu bar icon is distractingly blurry compared to others:

I wish I could just completely disable it. It doesn't really serve a purpose. If I want to open KC, I can just open it normally, and the very few options available, aren't really anything that helps me save time.
