Issue: Constant fuzzing sound when using bucklespring and listening to music at the same time. Fuzzy sound stops when using killall buckle

Music player: Lollypop I didn't try other music players.

OS: Ubuntu 18.04

Buckle was installed via snap.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Play music through Lollypop
  2. Launch bucklespring and the fuzzing starts.
  3. The loudness of the fuzzing increases when typing. but there is also a noticable fuzzing when not typing and music is playing.

Which sound solution are you using? If pulseaudio, what's the contents of /etc/pulse/daemon.conf?

could you try to set

; default-sample-rate = 44100
; alternate-sample-rate = 48000

To 44100 and uncomment them? sometimes differing sample rates between applications cause weird issues like that.

Could you try PR #75 if that doesn't work?

Hi. Thanks for getting back on this so long after.

I'm unable to try the PR #75 due to circumstances in real life.

If I recall correctly, I was using a fresh install of stock Ubuntu 18.04 at the time I contacted you.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help.
