Npm and Npx are scripts executed with shabang: #!/usr/bin/env node

This do not allow to call them with nodePaths.properties values -- the default used by the plugin.

Possible solution (to investigate):

  • Replace the shabang with node path value present in nodePaths.properties.
  • Run npm and npx using the node in nodePaths.properties as follow:
/path/to/project/build/node/some-version/bin/node /path/to/project/build/node/some-version/bin/npm
  • Override the /usr/bin/env node (too disruptive, it's better to avoid).
