Most sections of the Front Matter are being initially addressed in #2 .

This section, i.e. Background, is not.

The Background section should contain a < 10 page essay on the possibilities for humanity involving DNA and reproductive technologies applied to humans. This passage should engender careful reflection and an appreciation and soberness regarding technological progress in biology.
