Hi,
I'm starting with android development, so I got myself an older phone and flashed it to latest API just to find out, it doesn't propagate s/n and some other info, which kept me from running testing on it, so I hacked around, learned a lot of stuff about adb, various modes, where s/n comes from, etc. and got over here. I belief this part prevents s/n from propagation. I'm not completely sure, it's a complete fix, but it's as far as I was able to get. Spent half night trying to get the change on my device and test it, but I wasn't able to make a flashable boot.
Could you please accept this patch and make a new rom, so I can check, if it' working and possibly look further into it?
