Here you can find possible scenario that can help you fix installation issue by yourself.

Is shrimp_gis library installed?

ShrimpGIS use a library that it is stored here: %APPDATA%\shrimp_gis

Test

  1. Move a ShrimpGIS component into GH canvas. Is component red? If yes, is balloon message like this? 1. Solution exception: Failed to import ShrimpGIS: No module named shrimp_gis. Check your 'shrimp_gis' folder in.... If yes, go to next step.
  2. Seach for this folder %APPDATA%\shrimp_gis on your PC. Does folder exist? If does not exists apply following solution

Solution

  1. Open shrimp_gis_1_0_0 folder downloaded from Food4Rhino
  2. Open lib and copy shrimp_gis
  3. Go to %APPDATA%
  4. Paste shrimp_gis
  5. Repeat Test. Component should be grey.
