I spent a day trying to figure out why I couldn't type more than one digit when I had specified "3" for this value. Even though the property's name says "number", I saw the description specified "number of digits" more than once, and thought "well, 'max_typed_digits' would be a better way to name this, but alright".
I edited the description to make it more clear that this is a number that determines the max digits by seeing if all potential future values would exceed this number.
