Users
Welcome to the BingSubjects wiki!
Users page is where you manage all the internal users of the BingSubjects app. Only the active users in the "Users" page can access to the BingSubjects application. While creating a user, please make sure that you have entered their B-Numbers accurately to provide access to the users
In order to create a new user, you can simply click on the "Create User" button.
- Fill out the user information correctly on the form, and make sure that the user email and B-Number are accurate
- Make "active" flag to enable user upon creation, or leave it unchecked to active the user at a later time
- If you'd like user to be inactivated automatically at a specific date, check "Will Expire" flag, and then select a future date. After the entered date, the user will lose their access to the application. OR if the user will not expire, you can simply leave "Will expire" checkbox unchecked
- Each newly created user will be created with "View Users" permissions.
In order to update an existing user, please select a user from the datagrid, and click on "Update User" button to update the user information. Please ensure that the email or the B-Number entered do not belong to another user to successfully save your changes.
In order to prevent a user from accessing to the BingSubjects application, you can simply select a user and click on "Deactive" user. If a user is deactivated, they will lose all of their permissions
In order to select the user's global BingSubject permissions, please select a user and click on "Update User Permissions" button to manage user's permissions
