Packages without Bioconductor dependencies (other than, say, BiocStyle) are unlikely to interoperate well with the Bioconductor ecosystem. Usually revising the vignette to include illustrative work flow steps before or after functionality implemented by the package is a solution, so that additional packages are added to the Suggests: field.
