According to the article http://africanreality.over-blog.net/2019/11/road-accidents-the-case-of-ghana.causes-solutions-and-lessons-for-africa.html, the number one cause of death and injuries on the road is due to human error (80% of accidents) and the number one cause of death on the road is driver over speeding according to the article . Therefore a solution to check, alert and report overspeeding will go a long way to prevent the situation.
(Regulation 163of THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS, 2012 (L.I.2180) states “Except otherwise indicated by the Road Authority, a person driving a motor vehicle shall not exceed a maximum permissible speed limit of

(a) thirty kilometers per hour (30 km/h) within:
a school, a playground, or a health facility,a church, mosque, a market, a shopping center, or a procession or where human activity is predominant;

(b) fifty kilometers per hour (50 km/h) within:
an urban or built-up area;

(c) eighty kilometers per hour (80-90 km/h) on high ways

(d) one hundred kilometers per hour (100 km/h) on a motorway.’’

2. Add over speeding record to the vehicle profile and rating on the app with details including date and time, location of over speeding, actual speed, actual speed limit, duration of over speeding.
3. Make over speeding report to the law enforcement agency.
