Security Policy

Supported Versions

Only the latest release of Hibiki is supported. This is whatever version the main production instance is running, or the latest GitHub Release that isn't a pre-release.

No official support is given for self-hosted instances. It is not the responsibility of the Hibiki Development Team to ensure that self-hosted instances are secured properly or running the latest version.

Testing

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, be sure you test it in:

  • The latest stable version or release
  • The latest commit or pre-release

If the issue persists between current commits or is in production, then you should contact us. Otherwise, we may have patched it out or updated code.

Reporting

If you believe you have discovered a vulnerability or exploit and have followed the testing guide above, it's best to directly contact the owner using a link below, instead of creating an issue that others can possibly exploit on production.

Discord - Telegram - Email

If you are unable to make contact thru any of these methods whatsoever, you can go ahead and make an issue and we'll immediately look into it. However, it's best to do this as a last resort to prevent any possible damages.
