It seems there is a problem with either the test or the library after all, I am getting stochastic hangs, will try debugging the issue. |

This is a simple test case, inspired by Catch2 documentation.
It starts to address #4. If this approach to multithreaded testing is OK with you I'd contribute similar test cases.
